Rainbowlabacus is a colorful twisty puzzle designed by Oskar van Deventer, inspired by classic Astrolabacus puzzle.
At first glance, it looks playful and simple — just a rainbow of colorful balls. But don’t let the cheerful look fool you.
The original Astrolabacus design is highly symmetrical, which creates certain solving limitations. Oskar intentionally broke that symmetry by redesigning one section. While five sections contain 3 balls on each side, the magenta section features one extra ball, breaking the symmetry and making the puzzle significantly more challenging.
Twist, turn, scramble the balls… and then try to restore the original rainbow color order.
What looks like a simple toy quickly turns into a surprisingly tricky logic challenge.
