Looks simple at first glance—but don't let the clean design fool you. XY is a packing puzzle that quickly turns into a surprisingly clever challenge.
Your objective is to fit all seven Y-shaped pieces into the tray. The catch? They must all pass through the X-shaped opening in the lid. While the opening looks restrictive, it allows the pieces to be inserted in multiple orientations, including flipped over, creating thousands of possible arrangements.
More than 2,000 different assemblies can fill the tray, but only one can actually be inserted through the X-shaped opening. Finding that unique solution requires careful planning, spatial reasoning, and plenty of experimentation.
