At first glance, this puzzle looks like a futuristic drone resting on its landing base. But don’t be fooled — this is a purely mechanical brain teaser designed to challenge your intuition, patience, and understanding of gear systems.
The puzzle features a solid base with four legs, four rotating blades, and a hidden token held beneath the bottom blade. Inside, a complex system of gears links all four blades together. Rotate one blade, and the others respond — each at a different speed and ratio. What seems like simple rotation quickly turns into a precise mechanical dance.
The goal is deceptively clear:
align all four blades on top of each other, then release the token.
Achieving that alignment, however, is anything but simple. The internal gearing ratios and subtle mechanical tricks mean that progress can easily undo itself if you’re not careful.
