Oskar Key was originally designed in 1987, based on an idea from 1984. This two-layer puzzle key was mass-produced in metal by the Japanese Hanayama toy company. It was the very first licensed design by Hanayama. Production has stopped a long time ago, and vintage samples are occasionally sold at Ebay for 1000 USD. To make the puzzle even more challenging than the original design Oskar added a third key in the middle. The goal of the puzzle is to remove all 3 keys from the frame. The puzzle is requires 55 steps to solve. A smaller frame for a 2 key puzzle will be added with your purchase. After removing 3 keys from the frame you can try to solve the original 2 keys version of the puzzle.
